1. MyMedReg aims to facilitate the provision of the selected services within the relevant timelines, as detailed below:
    1. Medical Aid Registrations – there is an estimated lead time of 4-8 weeks from the time of submission to the medical aids. This timeframe is subject to change based on various factors, including the medical aids’ processing times.
    2. BHF registration – there is an estimated lead time of 1–2 weeks from the time of submission to the PCNS/BHF. This timeframe is subject to change based on various factors, including processing times.
    3. Contracting with Payment arrangements – there is an estimated lead time of 1 – 8 weeks, depending on the relevant medical aid. This timeframe is subject to change based on various factors, including processing times.
  2. MyMedReg will not be held responsible:
    1. if any of the services are incomplete after the aforementioned timelines. This could include but not be limited to delays on the medical aid and/or PCNS/BHF side;
    2. if the information provided by the healthcare provider or their banker (in the case of the healthcare provider banking with Investec) is incorrect. It is the responsibility of the provider to ensure the accuracy of the information provided;
    3. for delays in the submission process if these are caused by delays or inaction to provide the required documentation and/or information from the healthcare provider’s side or by MyMedReg;
    4. for delays due to incorrect information or details mistakenly provided by MyMedReg
    5. for delays if medical aids and/or the PCNS/BHF request additional documentation or information beyond the initial submission;
    6. for delays or rejections of applications if medical aids and/or the PCNS/BHF cannot contact the healthcare provider for verification purposes;
    7. if medical aids and/or the PCNS/BHF cannot verify banking details with the provider’s bank or if the bank details verification process fails. It is the responsibility of the provider to ensure accurate information regarding the banking information is provided; and/or
    8. for any other delays and/or damages caused to the healthcare provider and/or any other third party, whether through the fault of the healthcare provider, MyMedReg or any other third party.
  3. Please be aware that MyMedReg will not be responsible for payment of any fees due and owing directly to the BHF and/or PCNS. For purposes of clarity the healthcare provider will be responsible to ensure that all payments due and owing to the BHF and/or PCNS are paid timeously and in full.
  4. Please be aware that while MyMedReg strives to provide efficient and effective services, certain factors, including those beyond our control, may impact the timelines and outcomes of the services provided by MyMedReg.
